Hi there! I'm Roberto Jolliffe or Berto The VO. I am a Professional American Male Voice Over Talent. Your mission and message matters to me, tops brands have entrusted in my voice to tell the story they were looking to convey and you can as well. The versatility in my voice can provide a range of deep American, African American Urban voices all the way to animated high energy characters for commercials , cartoons, & so much more! I am a passionate person that gives my love and dedication to any craft I am involved with. In particular prior to working my way into the Voice Over industry I got my chops wet as an intern as a Clear Channel morning radio show host. I took that experience and started taking monologue/acting classes locally in Texas, which helped me garner knowledge in scenes and character building to utilize in commercials. Which lead to my next step where I went to LA to immerse my self in the entertainment industry and culture. I proceeded to take acting/commercial classes and got accepted into Groundlings Improv school. The skills and life lessons that journey taught me in life were invaluable and used everyday. I continue to give my clients my best quality and aim to over deliver on quality for any project no matter how big or small!
Fun Facts About Me: I am a military brat (primarily stationed around Texas) which was fortunate to move around and see the world and gain diverse perspectives that I apply to my VO's. I am Puerto Rican and Panamanian, my mother is from New York which would we visit every other summer and my father is from Panama and transitioned to Detroit. I love art and creating art in different forms, that goes from drawing/paintings, to producing and writing music, to just building diy projects at home. I have also worked in the Tech and Innovation space for many years on the business and IT side. Which has led me to build my own app called Evntures and other coding projects. I really enjoy traveling all over the world and immersing my self and learning about local cultures. Reading is also key to me particularly biographies individuals orgin stories, mannerisms, and life intrigue me.
