Jason Felisbret is a professional voiceover artist, narrator, and media-production professional with nearly a decade of experience and owner of Jason Felisbret Speaks. Working from a professional-quality home recording studio, Jason brings a distinctive combination of authenticity, authority, warmth, storytelling ability, and technical production expertise to commercial and long-form voiceover.
His professional foundation extends well beyond the microphone. Jason holds a Master of Arts in Promotion & Video Content from Liberty University and studied voiceover and audio engineering with professors Steve Poponi and Dave Downham, owners of The Gradwell House Recording Studio. He further developed his production expertise through the study of sound design with professor and Grammy-winning engineer Timothy Day.
Jason also served as Media Director and a member of the leadership team at New Beginnings Church (formerly New Beginnings Community Church) in Matthews, North Carolina. As a paid staff member, he was responsible for audio and media production supporting announcements, theatrical and play productions, awards shows, special guests, and other live and recorded programming.
That combination of performance, storytelling, audio engineering, sound design, and post-production experience shapes Jason's approach to every assignment. He understands not only how to interpret and deliver a script, but how the voice must ultimately function within the finished production. His delivery ranges from authoritative, confident, and commanding to warm, conversational, reassuring, reflective, and inspirational, with a particular strength for material requiring credibility, clarity, and an authentic human connection.
A military veteran and Lifetime Member of Disabled American Veterans, Jason also brings extensive life and leadership experience to his performances—qualities particularly valuable for historical, documentary, military, governmental, educational, corporate, and mission-driven storytelling.
Jason Felisbret has nearly a decade of professional voiceover experience spanning audiobooks, corporate training, e-learning, commercials, podcasts, online and video narration, announcements, nonprofit and historical programming, theatrical productions, live-event media, and other long- and short-form content.
An experienced long-form narrator, Jason has completed ten audiobook titles encompassing African American history, U.S. history, health and wellness, leadership, personal development, faith, and social-justice subject matter. His narration credits include The Port Chicago Mutiny: The Story of the Largest Mass Mutiny Trial in U.S. Naval History by Dr. Robert L. Allen; A Continuous Struggle: The Revolutionary Life of Martin Sostre by Garrett Felber, with a foreword by Robin D. G. Kelley; Black History in Bastrop County 1821–1988 by Marla Dianne Mills; The African American Guide to the Bible (The Second Edition) by Dr. H.C. Felder; Optimize Your Heart by Andy Beal; and Who’s Really Driving Your Emotional Bus? by James O. Henman, PhD, among others.
His professional project experience includes voiceover and media work supporting HSBC, Salesforce, the National Park Service, Lardini, Paradigm 360, University Press Audiobooks, the In Sharon’s Heart podcast, Victory Christian Center, Friends of Port Chicago National Memorial, New Beginnings Church, and other organizations and productions. These credits represent a combination of work-for-hire voiceover and media-production engagements, with New Beginnings Church representing Jason's broader paid staff and media-leadership role.
Jason also brings substantial technical capability to his VO work. His production experience includes professional voice recording, dialogue editing and cleanup, noise reduction, EQ and dynamics processing, loudness optimization, mastering, sound design, music and effects integration, and delivery to required technical specifications. He is proficient with Adobe Audition and Logic Pro for audio production and Final Cut Pro for video editing and post-production, and has extensive experience producing and delivering audiobook audio to ACX technical and quality-control standards.
This combination of professional voice performance and hands-on production expertise allows Jason to work effectively with producers, directors, engineers, publishers, agencies, and independent clients while delivering clean, production-ready audio from his home studio.
