LaQuita is a certified speech-language pathologist, voice-over artist, and award winning actress. She began narrating after she was discovered by a voice over casting director at an event. LaQuita has narrated for TIME, Huff Post, and Reuters. She has a supporting role (Katrina) in the popular audio drama Margaritas & Donuts featured in the New York Times. She narrated the Caldecott honor award-winning book Thank You Omu and the best selling book The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy. LaQuita loves playing cello and painting in her spare time. She is also an animal lover and has a cat named Gracie Lou Freebush.
