Leslie Olabisi is the casual, conversational voice you are looking for in your commercials and the trustworthy voice for your narrations. Using her background as an actor, she is able to take direction very well and her throaty yet clear vocal quality is a unique tone that stands apart from your average female voice.
Leslie studied at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in NYC; was a student of the late great, Wynn Handman and currently studies with Ted Brunetti. She has performed in a weeklong Off-Broadway production as a member of sketch comedy group, Troupe 10 with TAPNYC; and is a resident artist at Tyler Elem. on Capitol Hill.
Recent projects include: Narrator of “Unmarked,” a documentary directed by Chris Haley & Brad Bennett; voiced the promo for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom on BBC Radio for Netflix; voice of the dating app- BLK; narrator of the Dove Revolution project launch in the UK; is the voice of Canada’s first Performing Arts Degree Program at Ryerson Univ. and is coached by Everett Oliver. She successfully launched LOVStudios, producing video and audio content where Leslie hosts its shows on YouTube and Anchor FM.
Projects in the works include a children’s album, “Storybook Adventures” and documentary, “Making of a Voiceover Boss: Lessons Learned from Dame Dash.”
